Will the bottle keep drinks hot?
Yes, our bottles are insulated with a double wall vacuum. They have excellent heat retention. They can keep the drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24 hours.
Are bottles really safe for kids? BPA Free?
All our water bottles are made with premium 304 stainless steel, food-grade material and are completely free from BPA, Phthalates, PVC and other toxins.
Is the paint/design long lasting?

Can I put other beverages in there besides water?

Good, however the straw could have been on steel too that would have been nice.With such bottles at this cost you must also include a bottle cleaner , the straw seems to get slimy after a day's use.
Looking wise looks rich. Stainless steel keeps water hot. Easy to open and close. Got at good price.

I love the stainless steel sipper range from Basil - The bottles are lovely to look at and my grandkids love to carry it to school everyday. I especially like the heat retention capability - Retains the temperature for several hours very well, which is a boon for keeping kids hydrated with warm water thru the day. It is also very easy to handle and carry. Highly recommend.
