Features | Functionality | Care & Usage
Will the painting/color on the bento last?
Yes, the printing has been made to last, if handled with care. Avoid dishwashers, and using a metal scrub to extend the lifetime of the prints.
Is the bento leakproof?
We have designed a silicone seal structure that will ensure any wet food, semi solid and solid food like dips, sauce, yoghurt etc., doesn’t mix between the compartment or spill over. However, our bento box is not designed to keep runny liquids like water leakproof.
How are the lids? Will they be too difficult to open & close?
The Bento has been tested extensively. Tweens, teens & adults can open and close the bento with high ease.
Will the bento keep my food warm?
No, our stainless steel bentos are not thermally insulated, and hence are not designed to keep the food warm. We will be launching an insulated carry case to help you here. Be on the lookout.
Is the bento dishwasher safe?
The stainless steel bento is not dishwasher safe. Using it in a dishwasher is likely to degrade/remove the paint depending on the settings.
