Will the painting/color on the Bento last?

Yes, the printing has been made to last, if handled with care. Avoid dishwashers, and using a metal scrub to extend the lifetime of the prints.

Is the Bento leakproof?

We have designed a silicone seal to ensure any wet food and semi-solids like sauce, yogurt, and dips don't mix between compartments. Our bento is not designed to be leakproof for runny liquids like water.

Will the Bento keep my food warm?

No, our stainless steel bento box is not thermally insulated, and hence our tiffin box is not designed to keep the food warm.

Are the lids too difficult to close and open?

Lunchboxes that are very easy to open will not be leak-resistant. Hence we have designed the latches so that they are neither easy nor difficult. Children under 5 years might require adult help to open & close.

Is the Bento safe to use?

Absolutely, Our tiffin boxes are made from premium 304 stainless steel, food-grade silicone and are completely BPA free.

Is the Bento microwave friendly?

Our bento box isn’t microwave-safe because it’s made entirely of stainless steel - which can cause sparks and damage in a microwave.
