The Basil Wander Bag is a 20L ergonomic school backpack designed for kids aged 6–11 who deserve a bag that keeps up with their day - from morning assembly to after-school practice. Built with 290 Twill Bonded Fabric in an ISO 9001:2015 certified factory and pull-tested at 706 Newtons, it's engineered to last the year - and the year after that.
Featuring a master organiser system with 2 main compartments (with elastic book straps to keep textbooks upright), 1 front utility compartment, an L-shaped expandable side pocket, a stationery panel, a timetable pouch, and The Bonus Pocket for shoes, umbrella and more, every item has a dedicated place.
Comfort is built in from the ground up - a sternum (chest) strap shifts weight off small shoulders onto the upper torso, a fully padded back panel distributes pressure evenly, and wide pillow-padded shoulder straps mean no dig-in marks at the end of the day. At 750 grams when empty, it's light before the textbooks even go in. Side-release buckles are tested for 1,000 open-close cycles and zippers are tested to QB/T 1333-2018 - built for the way kids actually use bags. It is sized at 40 × 30 × 17 cm.
