Why did we not do it in steel: We love stainless steel but we believe large bento boxes (5 compartments) made in steel will become tooo heavy for kids to carry, hence we chose BPA free plastic for this.

I’ve tried a few different bento boxes for my son, and this one by far works the best.The leak-proof seal works perfectly, and the five compartments allow for a versatile lunch and snacks and without everything getting mixed up .The design is very pretty and very durable.
